Tom Withrow is a former professional basketball player known for his versatile playing style and leadership on the court. Born on January 15, 1985, in Columbus, Ohio, he demonstrated exceptional talent from a young age, leading his high school team to a state championship. Withrow played college basketball at the University of Louisville, where he was recognized for his scoring ability and defensive skills, earning All-American honors in his junior and senior seasons.

Following a successful collegiate career, Withrow was drafted 12th overall in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls. He quickly made a name for himself in the league, averaging 18 points and 7 rebounds per game during his rookie season, and earning a place in the NBA All-Rookie Team.
