Tony Adamle was born on May 15, 1924, in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Benedictine High School and went on to play college football at the University of Notre Dame, where he gained recognition as a talented player. After graduating, Adamle was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the 1946 NFL Draft, beginning his professional career in the National Football League.
