Tony Tanti, born on September 7, 1963, in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey winger whose career spanned from 1983 to 1999. After playing junior hockey in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Portland Winterhawks, he was selected 53rd overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. Tanti made an immediate impact in the NHL, known for his scoring ability and tenacity on the ice.
During his professional career, Tanti played for several teams, most notably the Vancouver Canucks, Pittsburgh Penguins, and the Chicago Blackhawks.
