Travis Taylor, born on March 30, 1978, in Jacksonville, Florida, is a former professional American football wide receiver. He attended the University of Florida, where he played for the Florida Gators from 1996 to 1999, emerging as a key offensive player and earning All-SEC honors. Taylor declared for the NFL Draft after his senior year, showcasing his potential as a playmaker.
Selected by the Baltimore Ravens as the 10th overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft, Taylor quickly made an impact in the league. He contributed to the Ravens' 2000 Super Bowl XXXV championship team, finishing the season with 26 receptions and 317 receiving yards.
