Trent Barrett was born on November 18, 1977, in Taree, New South Wales, Australia. He is a former professional rugby league footballer who played predominantly as a five-eighth or halfback. Barrett had a significant impact on the game both at the club level and on the international stage.
Barrett's club career began in 1995 with the St. George Dragons, where he quickly established himself as a talented playmaker. He subsequently played for the Penrith Panthers and the Manly Sea Eagles, where he won the prestigious NRL Premiership in 2008. Known for his sharp tactical mind and leadership skills, Barrett was also awarded numerous individual accolades, including selection for the NRL's Team of the Decade.
