Trent Hunter, born on June 5, 1980, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey player known for his tenacity and scoring ability. A product of the WHL's Calgary Hitmen, he was selected in the second round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders.
