Trent Klatt, born on January 30, 1971, in Fargo, North Dakota, is a retired professional ice hockey player from the United States. A versatile forward, Klatt played junior hockey in the United States Hockey League (USHL) before making his collegiate debut with the University of Minnesota, where he showcased his scoring ability. His notable performance at the collegiate level earned him a selection in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft, where he was chosen in the fourth round, 88th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers.
Klatt's professional career spanned over a decade, during which he played for several teams in the National Hockey League (NHL), including the Philadelphia Flyers, New York Islanders, and Los Angeles Kings. He achieved career highs with 24 goals and 28 assists in the 1998-1999 season while playing for the Islanders.
