Trevor Kidd, born on March 26, 1972, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey goaltender recognized for his contributions in the National Hockey League (NHL). Drafted by the New Jersey Devils as the 11th overall pick in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft, Kidd began his professional career with the Devils before moving on to play for several teams throughout his career, including the Florida Panthers, Calgary Flames, and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Kidd gained prominence within the league for his athletic prowess and competitive spirit, particularly during his time with the Florida Panthers from 1993 to 1996. He played a significant role in the Panthers' journey to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1996, establishing himself as a reliable goaltender.
