Biography
Tristan Wirfs, born on January 24, 1999, is a professional American football offensive tackle currently playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the National Football League (NFL). He attended Mount Vernon High School in Iowa, where he garnered attention for his exceptional athleticism and skill on the football field. Wirfs continued his development at the University of Iowa, where he started 26 games for the Hawkeyes and was recognized as a consensus All-American in 2019.
In the 2020 NFL Draft, Wirfs was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the 13th overall pick. He made an immediate impact as a rookie, helping the Buccaneers secure their first Super Bowl title since 2002 in Super Bowl LV, where the team defeated the Kansas City Chiefs. His performance earned him a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team and contributed to his reputation as one of the top offensive linemen in the NFL.
