Troy Loney, born on September 21, 1963, in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his time in the National Hockey League (NHL). A talented left winger, Loney was drafted in the second round, 28th overall, by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. Over the course of his playing career, which spanned from 1982 to 1995, he played for several teams, including the Pittsburgh Penguins, Los Angeles Kings, and the New York Islanders.
