Tyler Gron, born on September 7, 1989, in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey forward. Gron played junior hockey in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) for the Vernon Vipers, where he was part of the team that won the RBC Cup in 2009. He further developed his skills in the NCAA with the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where he became known for his offensive abilities and playmaking skills.
Gron entered the professional ranks in 2011 after signing with the Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League (CHL).
