Biography
Tyler Hirsch, born on January 4, 1984, is a former professional ice hockey forward from the United States. He began his career in junior hockey, playing for the U.S. National Under-18 Team before moving on to collegiate hockey in the NCAA with the University of Minnesota. His performance at the collegiate level garnered significant attention, contributing to his subsequent selection in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
Hirsch was drafted 68th overall by the New Jersey Devils and made his professional debut with the Albany River Rats in the American Hockey League (AHL). Throughout his career, which spanned from 2002 to 2010, he played for various teams in both the AHL and ECHL, amassing a total of over 400 points across regular-season and playoff games.
