Tyler Weiman is a former professional ice hockey goaltender from Canada, born on June 5, 1984, in Calgary, Alberta. He played junior hockey for the Vancouver Giants in the Western Hockey League (WHL), where he distinguished himself with remarkable performances that contributed to the team's success, including winning the WHL championship in 2006. Following his junior career, Weiman was selected in the fifth round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Detroit Red Wings.
Weiman made his professional debut in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Grand Rapids Griffins during the 2006-2007 season. Over the course of his career, he also had stints in the ECHL with teams such as the Colorado Eagles and the Florida Everblades, showcasing his talent and resilience. He earned accolades for his consistent play, including being named to the ECHL All-Star Game and winning the ECHL championship in 2009.
