Tyrann Mathieu, born on May 13, 1992, in New Orleans, Louisiana, is a professional American football player known for his versatility and playmaking ability. He played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he earned significant recognition, including the 2011 Bednarik Award as the nation’s top defensive player and a consensus All-American selection. Mathieu's collegiate career was marked by his exceptional skills as a cornerback and return specialist, earning him the nickname "The Honey Badger."
Drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Mathieu quickly established himself as a key player in the league. Over his stint with the Cardinals, he earned several accolades, including two Pro Bowl selections and a First-Team All-Pro designation in 2015.
