Tyson Sexsmith, born on March 19, 1989, in Vancouver, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey goaltender known for his performance in the junior and professional leagues. He gained prominence in the Western Hockey League (WHL) while playing for the Vancouver Giants, leading the team to a Memorial Cup championship in 2007 and earning the WHL Goaltender of the Year award in 2008. Transitioning to the professional circuit, Sexsmith was selected in the sixth round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks.
