Tyus Battle, born on September 23, 1997, in Edison, New Jersey, is an American professional basketball player known for his scoring ability and playmaking skills. He gained prominence during his high school career at Gill St. Bernard's School, where he was regarded as one of the top shooting guards in the nation. After high school, Battle committed to Syracuse University, where he made an immediate impact as a freshman and was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team.
During his college career at Syracuse, Battle became a pivotal player for the Orange, leading the team in scoring and helping them reach the NCAA tournament in multiple seasons.
