Ulf Dahlén, born on January 21, 1967, in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, is a former professional ice hockey forward known for his skilled play and significant contributions to the sport. Dahlén began his professional career in the late 1980s with Modo Hockey, where he quickly made a name for himself in the Swedish league, showcasing his scoring ability and offensive creativity. His strong performances led to his selection in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft, where he was picked by the New Jersey Devils.
Throughout his NHL career, which spanned from 1986 to 1999, Dahlén played for several teams, including the New Jersey Devils, the New York Islanders, the Dallas Stars, and the Vancouver Canucks.
