Vance Hughes is a retired professional basketball player born on January 15, 1988, in Richmond, Virginia. He played college basketball at the University of North Carolina, where he was known for his exceptional skills as a shooting guard. Hughes garnered All-American honors in his junior year, leading his team to a Final Four appearance in 2008.
Following his successful collegiate career, Hughes was selected in the second round of the 2009 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls. Over the course of his six-year tenure in the NBA, he played for several teams, including the New Orleans Pelicans and the Milwaukee Bucks, earning a reputation as a prolific scorer and reliable defender.
