Vernon Forrest was an American professional boxer born on January 12, 1971, in Augusta, Georgia. Known for his exceptional boxing skills and agility, he competed primarily in the welterweight and super welterweight divisions. Over the course of his career, Forrest became recognized as one of the elite fighters in his weight class.
Forrest gained prominence in the boxing world by winning the WBC Welterweight title in 2004, becoming the first fighter to defeat the reigning champion, Zab Judah.
