Viktor Bemström, born on February 6, 1997, in Stockholm, Sweden, is a professional ice hockey player known for his versatility as a forward. Bemström began his junior career with the Djurgårdens IF organization, where he showcased his scoring abilities and hockey sense, leading to his early recognition as a promising talent in Swedish ice hockey.
In 2017, Bemström was selected 117th overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the fourth round of the NHL Entry Draft. He made his North American debut in the 2018-2019 season, playing for the Blue Jackets' AHL affiliate, the Cleveland Monsters. During his time in the AHL, Bemström demonstrated his offensive skills by consistently ranking among the team’s top scorers and earning a call-up to the NHL, where he made his debut during the 2019-2020 season.
