Biography
Ville Heponiemi is a Finnish ice hockey player born on September 12, 1995, in Tampere, Finland. He is known for his skillful play as a center and has made significant contributions to ice hockey both domestically and internationally. Heponiemi began his professional career in the Finnish Liiga, where he played for Tappara before being drafted into the National Hockey League (NHL).
Selected in the second round, 40th overall, by the Florida Panthers during the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Heponiemi continued to develop his game, joining the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds.
