Vince Wilfork, born on November 4, 1981, in Boynton Beach, Florida, is a former professional American football player who played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He attended the University of Miami, where he was a key player on the college football team, helping lead the Hurricanes to a national championship in 2001. Wilfork was selected in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots, where he began a distinguished professional career.
Throughout his tenure with the Patriots, Wilfork established himself as a dominant force on the defensive line, earning five Pro Bowl selections and being named a First-team All-Pro in 2012.
