Walt Sofsian is a former professional American football player who played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) from 1984 to 1992. Born on July 15, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Sofsian attended the University of Nebraska, where he was a standout player and earned All-American honors. He was selected in the third round of the 1984 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
