Walter Baird (born January 15, 1975) is a former professional basketball player from the United States, recognized for his contributions to the sport during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Standing at 6 feet 5 inches tall, he played primarily as a shooting guard and was notable for his scoring ability and defensive tenacity. After excelling at the collegiate level at the University of Southern California, Baird was drafted in the second round of the 1997 NBA Draft.
