Biography
Wayne Presley, born on March 23, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois, is a former professional ice hockey player from the United States. He played as a right winger and was known for his speed and offensive capabilities. Presley entered the National Hockey League (NHL) after being drafted in the third round, 59th overall, by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft.
Presley made his NHL debut during the 1985-86 season, subsequently playing for teams including the Chicago Blackhawks, Buffalo Sabres, and the Ottawa Senators. Over his NHL career, which spanned a decade, he participated in over 350 regular-season games, recording significant contributions which included scoring 66 goals and providing 91 assists. Presley also had success in American Hockey League (AHL) and International Hockey League (IHL), where he garnered accolades such as inclusion in the AHL All-Star team.
