Wayne Simmons, born on December 15, 1969, in Whitehall, Pennsylvania, is a former professional American football player who played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the third round of the 1993 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers following a successful college career at the University of Notre Dame, where he earned significant recognition for his defensive skills.
During his tenure with the Green Bay Packers from 1993 to 1999, Simmons was known for his athleticism and versatility on the field.
