Wendel Clark, born October 25, 1966, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player known for his tenacity and leadership on the ice. Primarily a left winger, he was selected first overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. Over his 15-season NHL career, Clark played for several teams, including the Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Islanders, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Detroit Red Wings.
Clark's playing style combined physicality with offensive skill, earning him a reputation as both a goal scorer and a formidable enforcer.
