Wendell Walters is a retired professional basketball player known for his exceptional skills as a shooting guard. Born on July 14, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois, he garnered attention during his high school career at Chicago High School, where he broke several scoring records and led his team to the state championship. Walters then played college basketball at the University of Illinois, where he earned All-American honors and helped the team reach the NCAA Tournament's Final Four in 2005.
Walters was selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns. Over his six-year NBA career, he played for the Suns, New Orleans Pelicans, and the Toronto Raptors, averaging 11.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.
