Whip Walton, born on July 16, 1955, is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Walton was selected in the 6th round of the 1977 NFL Draft by the New York Jets, where he began his professional career. He played for the Jets for four seasons before finishing his career with stints at the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
