William Schroer is a former professional basketball player known for his exceptional skills as a shooting guard. He was born on March 5, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois, where he began his basketball journey at a young age. Schroer gained prominence during his high school career at Lincoln High School, leading his team to a state championship and earning All-State honors.
Following his successful high school career, Schroer played college basketball at the University of Kentucky, where he contributed significantly to the team’s success. During his time at Kentucky, he became known for his three-point shooting ability and solid defensive play, helping the Wildcats secure multiple NCAA tournament appearances. His performance in college earned him a selection in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft, where he was picked by the Miami Heat.
