William Wrenn, born on March 16, 1991, in Anoka, Minnesota, is a former professional ice hockey defenseman renowned for his strong defensive skills and leadership on the ice. He began his junior career with the Minnesota Wilderness in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) before advancing to play for the University of Denver, where he contributed significantly to the team’s success, including a NCAA championship in 2017.
Wrenn was selected in the 4th round, 113th overall, by the New York Islanders in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
