Willie Taggart, born on August 27, 1976, in Palmetto, Florida, is a former professional American football player and a prominent coach. He played college football as a quarterback at the University of West Florida, where he set several school records and earned recognition for his leadership and performance on the field. Following his collegiate career, Taggart was signed as an undrafted free agent by the San Francisco 49ers in 1999, marking the beginning of his journey in the NFL.
Throughout his NFL career, Taggart played for various teams, including the 49ers, the New York Jets, and the Miami Dolphins.
