Biography
Woody Dumart was a Canadian ice hockey player born on December 23, 1916, in Lethbridge, Alberta. He spent the majority of his professional career with the Boston Bruins in the National Hockey League (NHL), debuting in the league in 1939. Dumart was known for his exceptional scoring ability and versatility on the ice, playing primarily as a left winger.
Throughout his career, Dumart achieved notable success, helping the Bruins secure the Stanley Cup in 1941. He was recognized for his skill and consistency, earning two selections to the NHL All-Star Game during his tenure. Over the course of his career, which spanned until 1951, Dumart amassed impressive statistics, including over 200 goals and numerous assists.
