His stellar performance earned him a scholarship to play college basketball at the University of North Carolina, where he played for three seasons and contributed to the Tar Heels’ deep NCAA tournament runs.
During his collegiate career, Lundy was recognized as a consensus All-American in 2020 and was named to the All-ACC First Team in both 2019 and 2020. He left college basketball after his junior year, concluding with an impressive average of 20.1 points per game, along with solid rebounding and assist numbers.
