Yan Stastny, born on September 30, 1982, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey forward. He played junior hockey in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Spokane Chiefs, where he showcased his scoring ability and playmaking skills. Following his junior career, Stastny was selected 190th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Stastny made his National Hockey League (NHL) debut during the 2006-2007 season with the St. Louis Blues, contributing to the team with a combination of offensive prowess and tenacity on the ice.
