Biography
Yanick Lehoux, born on April 8, 1982, in LaSalle, Quebec, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his agility and scoring ability. A right winger, Lehoux was drafted in the 3rd round, 75th overall, by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. He played for several teams in the NHL and AHL throughout his career, including a notable stint with the Kings and later the Atlanta Thrashers.
Lehoux had a successful junior career in the QMJHL with the Laval Titan and the Halifax Mooseheads, where he showcased his offensive skills, leading to his selection in the NHL draft. He made his NHL debut during the 2003-2004 season and contributed offensively in both the NHL and minor leagues, notably finishing as a top scorer in the AHL.
