Zdeněk Nedvěd, born on March 3, 1975, is a retired Czech-American ice hockey player known for his versatility and skill on the ice. He began his professional career in 1992 in the Czech Extraliga before making the transition to North America, where he was drafted ninth overall by the New York Rangers in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. Throughout his career, Nedvěd played for several NHL teams, including the Vancouver Canucks, Philadelphia Flyers, and Pittsburgh Penguins.
During his tenure in the NHL, Nedvěd established himself as a proficient scorer, achieving a career-high of 82 points in the 1995-96 season with the Rangers.
