About
Club History
FC København, commonly referred to as FCK, was established in 1992 through the merger of two prominent Copenhagen clubs, B 1903 and Kjøbenhavns Boldklub. The club quickly rose to prominence in Danish football, winning its first Danish Superliga title in the 1992-93 season. FCK has since become one of the most successful clubs in Denmark, with numerous domestic league titles and cups to its name.
The team's identity is closely associated with its strong fan base, known as "Danish football's most passionate crowd," and its home ground, Parken Stadium, which has a capacity of over 38,000. FCK has represented Denmark in various European competitions, achieving notable results in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, where they have reached the group stages multiple times and advanced to the knockout rounds on several occasions.
In recent seasons, FC København has faced challenges in maintaining its dominant position within the league. In the 2023-24 season, the club finished with a record of 2 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws, placing 17th, while the 2025-26 season saw similar struggles, resulting in a record of 2 wins, 4 losses, and 2 draws, and finishing 31st. Despite these setbacks, FC København remains a significant force in Danish football, continually striving to reclaim its status as a title contender in both domestic and European competitions.
