Biography
Brian Noonan, born on May 29, 1965, in Tarrytown, New York, is a retired professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) during the 1990s. A forward known for his strong two-way play and physical style, Noonan had a successful collegiate career at Providence College, where he was a key player for the Friars before transitioning to the professional ranks.
Noonan was drafted 114th overall by the New York Rangers in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Rangers in 1986 and went on to play for several teams, including the St. Louis Blues, Chicago Blackhawks, and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Notably, he was part of the Blackhawks team that reached the Stanley Cup Final in 1992, contributing to their championship aspirations with his scoring ability and tenacity in the playoffs.
