New York Rangers

The New York Rangers, founded in 1926, are one of the oldest and most storied franchises in the National Hockey League (NHL). Based in New York City, the Rangers were established by Tex Rickard, who sought to bring professional ice hockey to the vibrant metropolitan area. The team quickly built a passionate fan base and became known for its iconic blue, red, and white colors, as well as its distinctive logo featuring a shield with the word "RANGERS."

Throughout their history, the Rangers have achieved significant success, claiming four Stanley Cup championships in 1928, 1933, 1940, and most notably in 1994, ending a 54-year championship drought. The 1994 victory marked a pivotal moment for the franchise and its supporters, culminating in a memorable playoff run that established the team as a cornerstone of the NHL. In addition to their championship titles, the Rangers have produced a plethora of legendary players, including Mark Messier, Brian Leetch, and Henrik Lundqvist.

In recent seasons, the Rangers have undergone a rebuilding phase, striving to re-establish themselves as contenders in the competitive NHL landscape. The 2020-21 season showed promising development, with a record of 27 wins and 23 losses, closely mirroring their performance in the previous season. By the 2021-22 season, the Rangers demonstrated significant improvement with a 62-win season, positioning themselves as a formidable team in pursuit of their next Stanley Cup title.
